“Bentenzakura”, a beautiful collaboration with remaining snow

The highlight of Bentenzakura is the combination of snow-covered mountains, clear blue sky, and cherry blossoms.

About 450 Somei Yoshino cherry trees stretch for about 1.5 km on the right bank of the Kuzuryu River, and are called Hitome Senbon. If you pass through this tunnel of cherry blossoms, you might be able to encounter a snowstorm of cherry blossoms carried by a pleasant breeze.

In 2023, an event with carp streamers on the Kuzuryu River will be held for the first time in three years.

Enjoy the collaboration of carp streamers crossing the Kuzuryu River, cherry blossoms and remaining snow.

[Parking/Access] There is a free parking lot on the Kuzuryu riverbed in Benten Ryokuchi. 8 minutes walk from Katsuyama station.
